Detailed Job View

You can access comprehensive job information and management tools by clicking the pencil icon ✏️ next to any job listed in the Job Lists section. This view provides complete control over job details and status.

The Job Detailed View consists of three main tabs: Details, Estimates, and Invoices. Each tab serves a specific purpose in managing your job information and financial documentation.

1. Details Tab

The details tab shows you all the essential information about your job. While some information here is view-only, like the client details, you can update other information, such as the job status, schedule, type, source, description, team details, and more.

To View Job details:

  1. Click on any job from the main job list

  2. The details tab opens by default

  3. Review information organized by sections:

    1. Client Details

    2. Job Specifications

    3. Scheduling

    4. Team Assignment

    5. Inventory

2. Estimates Tab

Keep track of all cost estimates for your job. Create multiple versions and manage them easily from this tab.

To View Estimates:

  1. Click the estimates tab

  2. See all estimates listed with:

    1. Estimate ID

    2. Creation date

    3. Amount

    4. Current status

To Manage Estimates:

  1. Create new: Click + Add estimate

  2. Edit existing: Use the pencil icon ✏️

  3. Send to client: Click the "Send" button

  4. Delete unused: Use the trash icon

  5. View details: Click the "View" button

Monitor Estimate Status:

Track changes through status updates

  • Pending: The client is reviewing

  • Unsent: Ready to send

  • Approved: Client received and approved the estimate

💡Tip: Only send one estimate at a time to avoid confusing clients - having multiple active estimates can lead to miscommunication about pricing and scope.

3. Invoices Tab

This tab allows you to access and monitor all billing documents associated with your job. The client's approved payments in the estimates tabs can be copied to Invoices by clicking on the Copy to Invoice button.

To access invoices:

  1. Click the Invoices tab

  2. View list of all job invoices

  3. Monitor payment status

  4. Track transaction history

What you can do:

  • View payment history

  • Check due dates

  • Monitor outstanding balances

  • Access transaction details
